Welcome
Hi, I’m Halyna Ilina – an instructional and graphic designer, content creator, philosopher, and author.
I create content for a diverse range of materials and work with tools such as Canva, PowerPoint, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Captivate, ElevenLabs, and Articulate.
I hold a PhD in Philosophy (2010) and graduated from film school as a film director in 2018. This combination has given me a unique blend of hands-on experience as a lecturer, a strong academic background in education, and a solid foundation in video production technologies.
With over 15 years of experience in adult education, I’ve designed more than 20 courses and delivered hundreds of lectures. Over this time, I have taught approximately 5,000 students. I possess practical and highly applicable knowledge of specific teaching methods that make courses interactive and engaging.

This video is part of the Ukrainian Language for Beginners course. It offers a vocabulary quiz designed to help learners test their knowledge of essential Ukrainian words.
Course Designed for a Business School
The Introduction to Brand Management course was developed to meet the needs of mid-career professionals pursuing a second degree in business. These students, often with diverse backgrounds and ongoing business projects, required a program that combined foundational knowledge with practical tools applicable to their real-world challenges. Delivered as a blended learning course, the program integrated in-person workshops with online components to provide flexibility and accessibility for busy professionals.
Originally developed for graduate students of the Faculty of Economics, the course was later adopted by the Business School, the continuing education branch of Ukraine’s largest university (Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv). It transitioned from Moodle-based lectures to include interactive presentations created in Articulate Storyline, providing a more dynamic and engaging learning experience tailored to working professionals.
The course was designed to meet the unique requirements of Business School students, who sought:
Theoretical Foundations:
Structured, easy-to-digest content on branding concepts and strategies.
Practical Solutions:
Immediate applicability to their personal business projects.
Facilitation and Engagement:
Interactive and discussion-driven sessions to maximize value for their time as working professionals.
To address these dual perspectives, the course was structured around eight interactive sessions. It focused on providing foundational branding knowledge while engaging students in practical discussions and activities that they could directly apply to their own businesses.
Objective:
To combine theoretical knowledge of brand management with practical case studies and tools, ensuring that students could apply their learning to their individual business projects.
Structure:
Brand Management – An Introduction: What is a brand? What can be branded?
The Brand Management Process: Key stages in managing a brand effectively.
Identifying and Establishing Brand Position: Positioning brands for success in competitive markets.
Planning and Implementing Marketing Programs: Practical approaches to branding strategies.
Measuring and Interpreting Brand Performance: Tools for evaluating brand success.
Growing and Sustaining Brand Equity: Strategies to maintain long-term brand value.
Interactive Sessions:
80% of the course content was delivered through questions, discussions, and real-life case studies to engage students and encourage critical thinking.
Practical Application:
Students applied course content to their personal business projects, ensuring immediate relevance and value. Brand practitioners were invited as advisers to provide real-world insights and mentorship.
Dynamic Materials:
Originally hosted on Moodle, the course was enhanced with Articulate Storyline presentations to deliver clear, structured, and engaging content.
The Introduction to Brand Management course successfully bridged the gap between theory and practice. It became a valuable resource for mid-career professionals, equipping them with tools and strategies to position their brands effectively while addressing real-world business challenges. Each student applied the course content to develop their own business projects, ensuring practical, personalized outcomes that directly supported their professional goals.
